LOUISVILLE, KY – August 30, 2022– Kentucky Trailer is pleased to welcome John Kwapis as its new Division President for Kentucky Trailer Manufacturing, Kentucky Trailer Services, and Kentucky Truck Body; collectively known as Kentucky Trailer Group (KTG). Kwapis joined the KTG team in July of this year.  

At Kentucky Trailer, Kwapis will oversee all KTG operations in Louisville, Kentucky, and Fontana, California. His responsibilities in Louisville will include managing and supporting all operations and production teams at Kentucky Trailer’s main trailer manufacturing facility, as well as at its Paint and Decal facility, Kentucky Truck Body manufacturing facility, and its Kentucky Trailer Services facility, including overseeing Kentucky Trailer’s Research and Development initiatives.

Kwapis is a proud graduate of Michigan State University, where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout his career, he has provided impactful leadership at a number of notable companies, including Accenture, Johnson Controls, and Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company. Most recently, he has served as COO at Blue Bird Bus, based in Fort Valley, Georgia.
