Kentucky Trailer names Gary W. Parker to Chief Operating Office post

Leading custom vehicle manufacturer adds tenured COO

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – (January 22, 2018) – Kentucky Trailer, a leading manufacturer of custom trailers, truck bodies, and mobilized workplace solutions, announced today the company’s hiring of Gary W. Parker as Chief Operating Officer. Reporting directly to President & CEO Gary A. Smith, Sr., Parker will have responsibility for all North American plant operations, continuous improvement, strategic sourcing/supply chain, and safety.

Parker joins Kentucky Trailer with an extensive background in manufacturing and engineering. He previously held the position of Director of Manufacturing with Great Dane Trailers and received a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
