In 2004, the creative minds at BI Worldwide were tasked with designing a mobile style tour for The GAP on a compressed schedule of only three months. The team at BI Worldwide looked to Kentucky Trailer Technologies for a fast solution to their denim-inspired dilemma.
The answer was a custom-outfitted semi-trailer transformed into a combination make-over salon and portrait studio. Style experts from The GAP would go to work teaching GAP addicts across the country how to mix and match and accessorize GAP styles. What would normally have been a six-month engineering and manufacturing project was operational just 80 days after BI Worldwide’s initial phone call to the team at Kentucky Trailer Technologies-- on time and on budget.
The Kentucky Trailer technologies team assessed the needs of BI Worldwide and pulled from its available inventory the perfect trailer for the GAP campaign. Kentucky Trailer Technologies also managed the logistics for the How Do You Wear It? tour-- which was the GAP's first mobile marketing campaign. How Do You Wear It? Marked the first mobile marketing campaign for the international retailer GAP.
